02 / ENERGY REQUIREMENTS

Energy Requirements

Forward-looking requirements are not the same as metered consumption. Each figure is shown at the scope supported by the available evidence.

01Electricity
~700 MW
Park-wide planning estimate

Working requirement, not measured electrical demand. Confirm the load basis, phasing and grid capacity before external use.

Working estimate
02Cooling
2,440 RT
HIVE 5 only

Four chillers. Typical weekday load 70–85%; 2024 electricity audit baseline 4.64 GWh. Do not extrapolate to park-wide demand.

Site-specific
03Heating / Steam
Park-wide requirement not quantified

No validated park-wide heating or steam load in the reviewed technical baseline.

Not quantified
04Water
To quantify
Future capacity still to establish

Historical billed water usage is available; it cannot, by itself, establish future site-wide connection or peak capacity requirements.

Planning gap
05Gas
To assess
No quantified park-wide demand

Depends on actual offtake, tenant requirements and any assessed Cogen / CCHP scenario.

Concept
06Telecommunications
To validate
Network drawings available

Validate future capacity against new development plots and tenant needs.

Evidence available
Measurement ≠ planning.Electricity consumption is measured in kWh and water consumption in m³; the ~700 MW number is an unconfirmed future power requirement. They should not be compared as if they represent the same period, units or geographical scope.
03 / ACTUAL UTILITY DATA

Electricity & Water Data

Invoiced consumption and current-period charges from the MRANTI billing records, with a directly accessible Power BI reporting view.

AGGREGATE BILLING SNAPSHOT 22 SEP 2026
Read the reporting scope

These figures cover MRANTI billed accounts and are not a validated MRANTI Innovation Park-only baseline. Electricity accounts may include other premises. Months refer to invoice/bill dates; actual meter-reading periods may cross calendar months. No raw bills, meter IDs, account numbers or arrears are published.

MONTHLY COMPARISON

Utility performance

July is selected for a like-for-like electricity and water KPI comparison. Trend charts independently highlight the latest available month for each utility: August for electricity and July for water.

DATA GOVERNANCE

Scope, method & source

For accurate interpretation during the GasMY technical discussion.

01Source of record

TNB Bill / Bill_Summary and SYABAS Water Bill Database / Bills, from the specified MRANTI Drive folder. Original files remain in Drive; no raw source tables are shipped.

02Calculation

Monthly usage sums the usage shown on unique account–invoice records. Current charges exclude previous balances; do not equate them with total payable or payment made.

03Coverage

Electricity has 51 billed accounts in each month from March to August. Water has three billed accounts in each month from March to July. Partial February and September data are excluded.

04Planning limitation

These are portfolio-level invoices, not park-specific peak electrical load, instantaneous water flow, or future infrastructure capacity.

04 / UTILITY INFRASTRUCTURE

Utility Infrastructure

Select a utility to review its current position and source documentation.

ExistingPlanned / upgradeConcept / verify

Source previews are requested from Google Drive and may require sign-in. Original Drive permissions remain in force. No utility bills are embedded here.

05 / DISCUSSION OPPORTUNITIES

Areas to explore

Technical assessment opportunities after the development, measured utility and infrastructure baselines are established.

01

Energy supply
& resilience

Validate future load phasing, grid interface, redundancy and the potential role of distributed or gas-based generation.

02

Cogen
/ CCHP

Assess technical and commercial feasibility once electricity and thermal demand profiles are confirmed.

03

District
cooling

Test whether aggregated future cooling loads justify a centralised precinct or park-level solution.

04

Green gas
/ biomethane

Assess supply route, gas quality, certification and offtake requirements for future applications.
